Foreclosure Time Line

FORECLOSURE TIME LINE New Jersey has a timeline for foreclosure cases which is controlled by the Fair Foreclosure Act.  This chart will give you an idea of the process and the minimum timeframes.  It often takes much longer than what is shown on the timeline for a variety of reasons.  Sometimes, the lenders just don’t pursue the cases.  Other times there are valid reasons for delay.
